The weird and wonderful thing about synchronicity is you never know when it will happen. The day before my attunement, I watched a video presentation featuring Eckhart Tolle, the author of ‘The Power of Now’. It was very opportune timing as the themes were just the right ones I needed to have in my mind for the next day.
A few days later I was talking about inspirational talkers, mentioning Lionel Fifield and Donald Walsh, and how my sister had read the books ‘Talking to God’ and the ones by Eckhart Tolle, whom she discussed frequently at the time. My mum had completely forgotten! I made a mental note to read the book soon.
Forward two weeks and we were having a lovely trip to meet up and I was blessed with early birthday gifts. Later on after a really wonderful day, my sister presented me with a bottle of bubbly and a book by Eckhart Tolle, she had just thought of giving me to read, ‘Practicing the Power of Now’. It couldn’t have been a better gift! I tried reading it on the way back, but it was still hard work, my back is sore and achy, and the entire journey up had been spent focused on my breathing and moving energy in to my body as I felt so rough! My head hurt, my shoulder was stiff, my back aching and I was tired! I did manage to get into a better space and felt more peaceful toward the end of the trip there.
The time we spend with people we are closely connected to can be very powerful, even if not much is said or done. It is the deep connection that physical presence brings about and there is no substitute for close community and familial bondings when we meet.
